How Can I get my blog to have more exposure on the major search engines?
Well all you need is a little strategy and the will to put the game plan into action.
How do search engines choose which website will be displayed at the top of their listings?
1. How well your page fits in relevancy to the search term
2. How many other sites link to your site for that same search term.
2. How many other sites link to your site for that same search term.
Say you are writing a blog about Psychic Research and you wanted to rank highly in the free search listings.
Let’s start with the first issue. Search engine relevancy. You will need to make sure the keywords ‘Psychic Research’ is on your webpage, both in the headline and once or twice in each paragraph.
Now the second point, you'd need to find a way to get other websites to link to your site with the blue "hyperlinked" text "Psychic Research"
The site with the most relevant use of the main keyword “Psychic Research “ AND, more importantly, the most links pointing to that page with those keywords in the hyperlinked blue underlined text wins.
Ok. That’s the nuts and bolts.Let’s actually do it.

Ok. That’s the nuts and bolts.Let’s actually do it.
Step #1: Use the Google Keyword Tool (easy to find if you search "Google Keyword Tool")
So plug in the name of your company, or in this example, Psychic Research. Up comes the number of times the key word tern is searched and a whole host of other related keywords. These keywords are what you will build your website around.
Step #2: Use this list of keywords and write a 400 word articles
For instance, if one of the keywords you find is "Psychic Frauds" you might right a short article with the title "Are All Psychics Frauds?"
Now write your researched opinion. By the way, don’t sell. Just give an honest opinion. There are so many sales letters out there people are justifiably skeptical.
[Infact you can write articles on all the associated keywords}

Step #3: Do it again (but with an agenda)
Do it all again but this time write with an article designed to presell what you wrote about in your first article. The point of this article is to promote the article you already wrote. So you wantto write an article that will ultimately link to your first article that will give greater detail.

Step #4: Write a blog.
Use a service like "Blogger" or ‘Wordpress” and name the blog by using THE most searched for keyword term you found when you used the Google keyword tool.
There is abig advantage in this approach. Search Engines hate affiliate links and sometimes strip the affiliate component. however, if you blog link is rated by a search engine then the problem is bypassed.
Step #5: Post Content To Blog
Take your first set of keyword focused articles and post them on your blog. Remember, Google loves links, so link your articles to other articles on your blog. As it’s a challenge to cover everything in one article you right several articles that cover different aspects of the topic. So if I right an article about Psychic Frauds, I could also write another on how to start a Psychic business, or another about people who expose frauds or…. I think you get the idea.If you r article touches on another topic raise the question of t hat topic and link to another blog entry you have written on that topic. Many free blog sites allow you too write article but have them progressively released on different dates. That way your content is drip fed to your readers and Goofle will detect you have regular updates.
Step #6: Get links to your blog
Take the second set of articles you created and post them to different article directories and in the resource box place a link back to the same keyword focused material you've posted to your blog.
So if you can post to 5 or 10 article directories, you that number of links back to your keyword focused blog posts.
You can do the same ting with the bulletins section of MySpace and Facebook. Use Twitter to ‘tweet’ each of your blog posts.
Start a twitter account and "tweet" each of your blog posts.
Start a Squidoo Lens and populate it with the most important keyword focused articles about your business and be sure to post a link back to your "Blogger" blog.
Find other blogs in the niche and comment on the posts, use your main keyword in the name field and as your URL for the post use the link pointing back to your "keyword focused" blog page.
Why not even create a video for each of your main keywords? Submit them to several video directories and in the "more info" about the video section leave a link that goes back to your blog post.
I think you get the drift. There are tons of ways to get links back to you for free, and it's how many you get coming at you, from quality locations, as described above that counts.
Do this and . . .
You'll start rising up the ranks in the search engines for your company's most prized keyword. In other words, when ever anyone search for anything related to your business, who will they find? You!
Once you have set up this process you will zoom up the rankings!
Work with your key words and you're made
I dont like hard work, but I do lke to work smart.
